Richard Eisenbraun

Partner - BLG LLP

Richard is a lawyer and trusted advisor who helps his clients navigate significant situations across a variety of sectors and circumstances.

He draws on more than 15-years of experience practicing tax and corporate law at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, and serving on a variety of for-profit, non-profit and charities Boards, to bring a unique perspective to complex situations, such as generational shift in private companies, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investment, disputes and business growth strategies.

Richard is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and has completed Levels I to III of the CPA Canada, In-Depth Tax Course. He is also a member of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP’s Partnership Board, the firm’s governing body.

Richard grew up in a family environment that had significant substance use issues. He has seen close family members fall down a negative path, and others find health and happiness. He understands the toll this can take not just on the particular individual, but those around them. He hopes that, through his work with the Foundation, others will find the support and community to drive in a positive direction.
